Room Edit No. 2 – A Dining Room for Hosting

We’ve finished our second room edit, and I’ve been so excited to share this one with you all! Our client was looking to design an inviting space where she could host family and friends around a large dining table.

Here’s how the space started:

The space was recently renovated and just waiting to be fully furnished. The light finishes in the room and large window made me excited to introduce some deeper and moodier tones!

The starting point in the room was the large area rug. It helped fill the space and added some interest with the soft moss tones and pattern. The flat weave also makes it forgiving with food and spills.

The Jacobo dining table gave the room some depth, and the textured finish introduced a vintage feel into the room.

I love mixing two types of dining chairs, and the Maddox and Francis are a perfect pair. The slip covers gives the room an elevated and elegant feel, while the wood chairs make for durable every day living.

And can you even handle how beautiful those faux stems are? Our Eucalyptus sprays are my go to at almost every install because of how easy they are to style in a vase.

I love the collected and casual feel the room has, and am excited for our client to enjoy it with family and friends!
