The turning of a new year brings with it a sense of possibility—an invitation to pause, reflect, and look forward with intention. As we prepare to step into 2026, we find ourselves equally drawn to revisiting the year just passed.
2025 was a year of meaningful work and thoughtful growth. Our studio had the privilege of bringing a wide range of projects to life, from carefully curated furnishings to full-scale renovations and new builds. Each collaboration was shaped by trust, shared vision, and a deep respect for the spaces our clients call home. We are endlessly grateful to those who invited us into their lives and allowed us to imagine, refine, and create alongside them.
As we close the chapter on 2025, we’re thankful to share a few highlights from the year that was—moments that continue to inform the way we design and inspire what’s to come.
Country Lane Project
This home was designed to embody a refined Belgian Farmhouse aesthetic—warm, inviting, and quietly sophisticated. Lime-washed walls, natural wood ceilings, and a layered mix of textures create a sense of depth and character while maintaining an effortless ease throughout the space.
The open-concept main living area brings together multiple sitting spaces, dining, and kitchen, all oriented to capture expansive views and natural light. Thoughtful material selections ensure the home feels both expansive and deeply cozy, balancing scale with warmth. The result is a timeless, livable home designed for everyday moments and meaningful gatherings alike.
Rustic Country New Build
In 2025, we returned to our Rustic Country project for final installation and styling, bringing warmth, texture, and personality to every space. Grounded in natural materials and soft, quiet lines, the home feels both refined and deeply lived-in.
Layered textiles, meaningful objects, and thoughtful details were carefully selected to reflect the people who call it home while remaining true to the original design vision. With the finishing touches now complete, we’re looking forward to having this space professionally photographed in the year ahead—capturing the home as it was always meant to be experienced.
Fields View Project
With millwork complete and final details in place, our Fields View project reached its full expression in 2025. Every surface and material choice reflects the original vision—creating a home that feels serene, grounded, and deeply personal. Natural timber tones, layered textiles, and a nuanced palette come together in a restrained yet inviting composition.
From early concepts to the final installation, the project is a testament to thoughtful layering, refined texture, and enduring craftsmanship. The result is a cohesive, quietly luxurious home where every detail feels intentional and effortless.
In The Woods Project
Completed in 2025, In The Woods comes into focus through its layered craftsmanship and softened, organic palette. Timeless forms and honest materials—paneled cabinetry, hand-applied plaster, and carefully layered finishes—create a home that feels grounded, restrained, and enduring. Each detail was selected for longevity, allowing the architecture and millwork to quietly reveal their depth over time.
Hearthstone Project
Hearthstone is defined by natural materials, timeless forms, and detailed craftsmanship—elements that together create a sense of permanence and understated elegance. Stone plays a central role throughout the home, lending durability and warmth, while arched openings shape a graceful flow between spaces and add architectural depth. These larger gestures are supported by carefully considered details, from custom millwork to nuanced finishes, ensuring a cohesive and intentional design.
The approach balances rustic texture with refined proportion, interpreting traditional elements through a modern lens. As the project continues to take shape, Hearthstone stands as a reflection of thoughtful design and enduring materiality. We look forward to wrapping up this project in 2026, when the full vision will be realized—crafted to stand the test of time.
Refined Riverside Project
In 2025, our Refined Riverside New Build continued to take shape with quiet intention. Through a thoughtful presentation of textures, finishes, and tonal layers, the design was developed to bring warmth, clarity, and cohesion throughout the home.
Grounded in craftsmanship and timeless detail, the project balances subtle refinement with everyday ease—creating a home that feels elevated, inviting, and enduring as it moves toward completion.
River Road Farmhouse
In 2025, our River Road Farmhouse continued to take shape with a focus on authenticity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to its setting. During Phase II, we developed the exterior architecture across multiple structures on the 100-acre property, drawing inspiration from European countryside estates. A richly textured stone palette and expansive, seamless windows balance rugged charm with refined execution, allowing the surrounding landscape to remain ever-present. Though newly built, the home is designed to feel storied and lived-in, with patinated materials and layered landscaping that lend a sense of permanence. As we move into the new year, we’re looking forward to continuing this project and watching it evolve—designed to grow more beautiful with time.
Rolling Fields Residence
In 2025, Phase II of our Rolling Fields project marked a pivotal moment, when the full vision of the home came into focus. Architecture, interiors, materials, and finishes were brought together as one cohesive narrative—exactly as intended from the outset. Developed as a unified process, the home unfolds seamlessly, with each space carefully choreographed to reflect clarity, balance, and lived-in intention.
The interior continues the architectural language of the exterior through reclaimed European cobblestones, patinated lime plaster, layered stonework, and open-flame, wood-burning fireplaces. Light was treated as a design element, with thoughtfully proportioned windows shaping atmosphere and rhythm throughout the home. As we move into 2026, we’re excited to continue this project and bring the remaining layers to life, further realizing the home’s enduring character and comfort.
Custom In-House Furniture
At the studio, custom furniture has always been integral to our design process. As our work continues to evolve, we’re placing a renewed emphasis on highlighting the craftsmanship, detail, and intention that define each piece. Custom furniture is never an afterthought—it is a natural extension of the overall design vision, thoughtfully handcrafted with longevity, quality, and restraint at its core. We’ve developed a curated range of custom stains to ensure every finish feels purposeful and refined, allowing each piece to sit seamlessly within its surroundings. No two designs are ever the same; each is tailored to its project, resulting in furniture that feels both deeply personal and enduring—crafted to age beautifully alongside the spaces it inhabits.
With gratitude from the entire team at Coco & Jack, thank you for following along! We hope the past year offered moments of inspiration and insight into our approach to thoughtful, enduring design. Most importantly, we extend our sincere thanks to our clients—your trust in us to shape the spaces you call home is a privilege we never take lightly.
