We are nearing the holidays, and I’m looking forward to spending some extra time with family. Last week, I shared my Kids Gift Guide on the blog. This year, Steve decided to make an ice rink in the back yard for the kids. He grew up playing pond hockey, and is excited to teach our kids. I’m not sure I’ll be skating, but I’m looking forward to make some hot chocolate and bringing it out to them! It’s definitely doesn’t make our backyard any prettier, but the kids are so excited about it, and I love that it will give us something to enjoy outside during the colder months.
